Wow! We are so overwhelmed and grateful for the response we've gotten after the airing of our episode of Billion Dollar Buyer on CNBC. How did all of this come to be you ask? Well here's the story...

Over the summer, an employee of ours had reached out to an interior designer contact at Landry's Inc. for potential business. Landry's is a multi-brand dining/hospitality corporation that just happens to be owned by Tilman Fertitta — a self made billionaire who hosts the show Billion Dollar Buyer on CNBC. Our company must have really gotten everyone's attention because out of nowhere we were contacted by casting for the show! Interviews were quickly set up and before we knew it we were filming.

Tilman came in and was very impressed with our business. He owns many restaurants and hotels (Landry's Seafood, McCormick & Shmick's, Bubba Gump Shrimp, Morton's and so much more) and this partnership just made so much sense for both parties. What better company to supply these great spaces with reclaimed barn siding, tables, benches, etc. than Real Antique Wood?

After accepting and mostly meeting Tilman's building challenges for the show, Gary, Lisa, and Anthony wound up in Houston, Texas in the board room. There we struck the biggest deal in Billion Dollar Buyer history — a $600k order for restaurant benches, red barn siding, and more! So far we have created beautiful restaurant benches for the Grotto Ristorante in downtown Houston (pictured below) as well as de-nailed, kiln-dried and shipped out tons of red barn siding to their newest Saltgrass Steak House location (also pictured below).

This journey has been one we will never forget. Tilman's wisdom and guidance is something we are truly grateful for. He helped us whip our pricing and inventory into shape and taught us valuable business lessons. Thank you Tilman! And a special thanks to the BDB crew and CNBC!
