With our mill’s close proximity to Manhattan and Brooklyn, we’ve been lucky enough to be part of some amazing design projects.  From retail shops, to restaurants, and cafes, New York City business owners and entrepreneurs know that to be successful in the hub of the world’s best restaurants, fashion, and entertainment, you have to stand out.

When Bernie Riley, owner of The Perfect Pint and Connolly’s in Manhattan, came to us he was looking to revamp his two Irish pubs.  What started as a project in late 2013 continued into the later parts of 2014, and we’re happy to be sharing the beautiful work now in The Perfect Pint.  Our reclaimed materials and Antique Wood are sourced directly from mid-late 19th century barns from the heart of Ohio.  This material features naturally occurring mineral streaks, deep grooves, splits, dents, checking, nail holes, mortise, and peg holes that all contribute to the rich history of the wood that stood for a century or more in a farm field.  Bernie and his team of designers featured our wood throughout his large restaurant space on the walls, indoor and outdoor bars, and other detailed shown below in the photo gallery.

Photographer Chris Marksbury captured the immense amount of detail poured into this Irish ale house in every corner.  We especially love the character of the indoor bar.
