Our live edge wood slabs can be used for bar tops, counter tops, kitchen islands, end tables, table tops, vanities, and more. Some species that we have in stock are pine, hemlock, black walnut, cherry, maple, and oak. Slabs are all various lengths and widths and thickness ranges from 1" to 4". Our band saw cuts up to 27 feet in length and 36 inches in width. Our slabs typically come with bark attached & are known as “live edge” slabs and slabs are available with our without the live edge. A simulated live edge is where our carpenters incorporate the natural edge of the wood into the design of the piece. All slabs are kiln dried so the amount of movement, checking, and warping will be minimal.

If you need a wood slab wider than what our band saw will allow or what we may have in stock, book matching may be an option. (Book matching is matching two wood slabs, so that the adjoining surfaces mirror each other in appearance, thus giving the impression of an open book.)
