Levi's Lessons: Reclaimed Wood Accent Wall

We get a lot of questions here at the mill and since I hang around here all day, I've spent a lot of time listening to the answers! I'm ready to give you the inside scoop on all things DIY and old wood. Today's lesson is all about doing a reclaimed wood accent wall since it's one of our most popular requests.

3 Easy Steps to Your Reclaimed Wood Accent Wall

Step 1: Tack up 1/4″ plywood to the wall. This is also sometimes called lauan wood. It can be found at any lumberyard or home improvement store.

Step 2: Paint the plywood a dark brown or black matte. Allow it to dry completely.

Step 3: Put up your beautiful reclaimed wood!
